This collection of rounds and canons, based on well-known English and American proverbs (with a classic French one thrown in), is varied in both style and difficulty. The songs range from simple classical melodies with traditional baroque harmonies to modern pop and salsa styles, with syncopated rhythms and jazz progressions.
ICD, who published the collection, also made a demo CD of all the rounds so that teachers or choral directors could check them out. Each is sung by Debbie Golata or Baker Peeples , both of whom were also involved in Myoptica. They sing each round on several tracks, singing with themselves as they listen to the other parts through earphones. This is no easy task!
